Frances is our place to gather.
Comfortably hosting up to 38 guest, we offer private event sailing in Portland, Maine. Joining Frances brings the opportunity to sail in the fashion of a different era, aboard a vessel classic and dated, along a coastline that shares the same kind of revery.
Aboard Frances we uniquely offer large open deck seating with a sweet little nook between our mainmast and main cabin for picnics and lounging. We work almost exclusively with Lake + Co catering for our private events. Based in Yarmouth, Maine, Lake + Co delivers impeccable food with the most beautiful display that always proves to be the centerpiece of every charter.
Field Floral Studio is available for private events such as weddings, birthdays, and summer parties. Field is a floral and event design studio based in Portland, Maine. Field creates loose, wild, and unique arrangements that highlight the naturally beautiful shapes of the materials therein. From June through October, they source flowers from Maine farms and forage all over for novel flora.
Frances charters for two or more hours. Small parties, large parties, corporate outings, wedding ceremonies, rehearsal dinners, birthdays, and every kind of celebration in between.
